While most long-term travel plans are still on hold, weekend getaways close to home are a welcome alternative. Short weekend getaways, in the Netherlands and sometimes beyond, are great for the soul and usually leave us feeling refreshed and recharged, doing wonders for our health and well-being, especially in these times. From beach houses, to cabins, to tiny inn’s on wheels and island cabins – you will find your unique next weekend trip.

Another cabin style getaway just across the border to Belgium are Nutchel Cabins. Each cabin has large steel windows to really give you the feeling of reconnecting with nature, with a bit more luxury than Cabiner. Some even have a hot tub! Another similar, popular option in the area are Warredal cabins.
Tiny Hotel
Nistelrode, North Brabant
This modern little farmhouse, Tiny Hotel, lies hidden away in a small forest. Run by Leonne and her family, Tiny Hotel is a wooden holiday cottage located on the family farm inviting you to spend a slow weekend. Wake up overlooking the forest, collect your own eggs with the silk chickens, have a cuddle with the bunnies, or, our favorite, give a good back rub to pig Lou Lou. An outside campfire and wood-heated hot tub will keep you warm and cozy, even outside during winter days. Perfect for families and couples alike!
