The Lemon Lodge in Aljezur, Portugal

by | 17 11 2022 | Hotels, Travel

A small-scale organic farmstead nestled between the mountains and beaches of the Algarve

Tucked between the hills of Monchique and the rustic beaches of the Algarve lies this eco-friendly farm. It started as a dream of a group of friends to start a farmstead with lodging. Driven by permaculture principles and a passion for living a sustainable lifestyle where nature sets the pace, they envisioned The Lemon Lodge.

Entirely off-grid, the lodge is powered by solar energy and the water is pumped from their own wells. The food gardens supply organic ingredients. Rural, simple and unsophisticated, while beautifully designed and decorated in tune with its surroundings – you will feel right at home.
