The breakdown

Location: Nutchel Forest Camp Les Ardennes, just outside of the village of Martelange in Belgium, bordering Luxemburg

Cabins: 26 Nutchel cabins ranging from two to four and six people, simple but well thought-through interior and facilities, some even come with a private hot tub. A classic wood stove, kitchen with gas stove, hot shower and outdoor BBQ.

Rates: From €180+ for two nights in a Nutchel cabin, fixed arrival and departure days

Highlights: Cabins with their own hot tub on the roof, overlooking the forest.

The feel: Cozy nights in front of the fire after a day of forest bathing.

Not to be missed: Visit the organic farm La Ferme des deux Fontaines for organic vegetables, honey, pasta and more. Open on Friday and Saturday.
