Thatched villas set on the edge of a steep ravine at Viceroy Bali. A private retreat with views of the serene mountains, located in the central foothills of the Gianyar regency. Viceroy Bali was the lifelong dream for Australian/Austrian owners Margaret & Otto. They first fell in love with the natural beauty of Bali and the kind hearts of the Balinese people. The land where the hotel is set, used to be rice fields and a steep jungle ravine owned by a farmer named Badjra, who still works at Viceroy Bali today. Much of the surrounding area is still untouched, while the busy Ubud center is just a short 5-minute drive away.
